carry big rifle ammo in it. better for quick reloads than fishing in pockets.

It holds the 30-378 as I hoped. I do wish it wad divided between cartridges. Once you remove one or two they fall around. Overall it does work.

These are absolutely wonderful ammo holders for the field! I have had one for 50 years and got it used then. It lasted until about 5 years ago when the sewing string just plain disintegrated. I did know now that these were still available so I had it sewn back together by a leather smith for the sum of $30, then I found these new again at Hunter and bought two more just to have. They say that these hold only 8 rounds of 30-06, well after years of use, mine now holds 10 and there are occasions where I have needed them all. (No details on the shooter). This opens fast and make all 8-10 rounds immediately and easily available for fast reloading for bad shooters. I cannot speak enough of this product.

Works great for my 450/400NE but loops are too big for my .375H&H.
