The American Full-Grain Leather Carrying Strap is a tight-fitting military-style sling that contributes to accuracy. This Carrying Strap comes both 1" and 1 1/4" wide in chestnut tan leather, with solid brass hardware.

Good Product

Good carry strap, but comes very dry. Had to apply a lot of leather oil to get it limber where it wouldn't crack. Once that was done, a great strap. Just hate to have to work on something before you can use it.

Great Buy

This product was purchased to install on my wife's Ruger Mini-Thirty. She really likes it. Just wanted/needed a basic leather military-type sling to complement the rifle. Solid brass hardware, quality leather for a very reasonable price. More than satisfied.

Good basic sling

Needed a sling for a Henry .22 lever action, for aesthetic purposes didn't want a nylon version. This leather model looks good, isn't so big as to 'overpower' the looks of the slim little rifle. The thing will certainly not rot, as there was so much oil in it, it almost dripped. Good idea to wrap it in newspaper for a while to let the grease leech out; have to change the paper a couple of times to reach a 'usable' dryness. Not a deal breaker, just be careful about grease stains when you sling it over your shoulder.

really good Sling for my 22 rifle

I purchased two of these slings for a couple of my 22 rifles. One was for a sling that had seen better days, and the second for a rifle that never had a sling. The leather was soft and supple, yet seems durable. It's like a military sling for a 22 rifle. Hunter makes really good long lasting leather product. I liked these slings so much I ordered more!

Very nice.

Nice, simple leather sling. Thick leather, solid hardware, US made. Was a bit stiff but some leather dressing helped. Will be purchasing a 1 1/4" version for another rifle.
